SUNN Volunteer Requirements

  • Each family will be required to work a minimum of 10 hours for the 2023-2024 season at home meets, even if your swimmer does not swim at the meet - (2 hours per day for each home meet). We need all families to participate in order to host meets.
  • Away meets DO NOT COUNT for the required volunteer hours - you are required to work at away meets your swimmer attends. If all job openings are not filled before the meet date, we will assign slots to those families who have not signed up (and it may not fit your schedule).
  • SUNN hosted Meets - We plan to host 4 meets. For FY2023-2024, the Blue and Gold** was not included in the required volunteer hours. It is a practice Intrasquad meet and team picture day.

SUNN Swim-A-Thon…This Saturday!

  • SUNN’s coolest pool party ever! We’ll provide the music, snacks, and raffle prizes; you provide the swimmers!
  • Get your online accounts set up if you haven’t already! Encourage your swimmer to reach out to friends/family to sponsor per lap or a flat donation. Ask about corporate matches!
  • Bring old SUNN/swim gear to donate to our Used Gear Sale.
  • Swimmers should arrive at least 15 minutes before 3pm to check in, get their tally sheets, and pick a lane. Swimmers can bring their kickboards & fins.
  • Parents - Bring a chair & tally laps for your swimmer(s)!
