**Is student access or a 1:1 device model required?**

students using Edwin need their own license so the content shared and learning tasks completed are specific to their needs, but teachers can also share Edwin resources with their students without student access, for example by projecting or printing resources.

Edwin has intentionally been designed to be flexible. One of the primary ways educators use Edwin is through a **shared classroom screen**—to support whole-class instruction. Teachers also use Edwin for lesson planning and to access resources that support the full teaching and learning cycle.

There are **printable resources** available, so educators can move easily between digital and non-digital learning experiences.

Where student devices are available, students can have their own access to Edwin. This allows them to use tools like formative assessment checks, interactive manipulaties, and access learning from home. But individual student access is an **option, not a requirement** for effective implementation.
