Anson’s Rainbow Room
We are delighted to show you the first stage of our transformation of the old canteen to the new Rainbow Room.
This room has been specifically designed to support all our pupils providing a special space for calm and reflection.
As you already know, we passionately believe that all our children should have an opportunity to flourish academically as well as emotionally and socially too. The Rainbow Room will provide space for nurture, small group interventions, individual interventions and reflection times for all.
With the support of my team and wonderful PTFA, we now have this additional resource so that not only will children have the outdoor classroom to enhance their mental health and well being but an inside space too.
Anson Choir
Anson Choir were invited to sing three songs to entertain the community at Great Haywood Memorial Hall.
Anson children had contributed to a very special exhibition at the Memorial Hall celebrating the heritage Great Haywood and Shugborough.
The choir sang beautifully with many children singing individual solos showing their confidence and musical talents.
The Mayor and Mayoress were so impressed with the choir that they agreed to visit Anson school this week and form part of the audience for the community performance of Class 4’s,
‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’.
Well done to staff and children of Anson CE Primary.
Goodbye and Good Luck!
We would like to say a very special thank you to Miss Sumner, Mrs Ford, Miss Roper and Mrs Petillo who are exploring new adventures in 2023.
We have been blessed to have had all four working at Anson and we wish them all a very happy future filled with love and happiness.
We will miss you all!
