EMOTIONS AT SCHOOL
CEIP NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LOS ÁNGELES (SPAIN)
In this project we have learned about 5 emotions:
In our school we have connected each emotion with a color.
WE KNOW OUR FEAR
We have known the features of fear through different stories and the creation of faces. An example of story: The Koala who could.
Moreover, we have done our “fear box” to know and eliminate them with our classmate.
We invite you to learn different techniques to confront the fear. It´s fantastic.
WE KNOW OUR ANGER
We have learned through a story called “Tengo un volcán”.
Their sensations are: increase the temperature, fast breathing and tense muscles.
How is it expressed? Frown, clenched teeth and lips and with wide open eyes.
Also, we have done different roles playing to show this emotion.
WE KNOW OUR SADNESS
We have known the features through different stories “Cuando estoy triste” and “Lágrimas bajo la cama”.
Their sensations are: without strength, without hunger and pain in the heart.
How is it expressed? no smile, some tears and look at the ground.
We have done different wheels of activities to do when we feel this emotion.
WE KNOW OUR HAPPINESS
We have know this emotion through a book called “Las estrellas de colores”.
Moreover, we have done different draws to learn their sensations: fast pulse, motivation and energy.
How is it expressed? Smiles, roar with laughter and relaxed face.
Also, we have made a wand to distribute joy.
WE KNOW OUR DISGUST
We have read a book called “¡Qué asco de sandwich!”.
Also our classmates have done different draws about this emotion.
Moreover, we have done a game to learn more about disgust.
Finally, we have played with mystery boxes.

EMOTIONS IN ITALY CHIETI
Our school: we are the fifth class of one of the three primary schools of a comprehensive school in Chieti which also includes three kindergartens and a lower secondary school.
HOW MANY EMOTIONS DO WE KNOW?
The pupils have thought to write a diary of the emotions from October to the end of April to verify their daily emotions

EVERY AFTERNOON, BEFORE LEAVING THE SCHOOL, THE PUPILS HAVE WRITTEN THEIR DAY EMOTION CHOOSING THE IMAGE AND SAYING WHY

ANGER
Is it easy for you stay calm? For us, the 5th grade pupils in Chieti
anger is not a recurring emotion fortunately. We can play and joke without getting angry and without insulting to each other. It is not nice in our opinion to get angry. Beasts get angry, not people

we had a lot of fun rummaging through the canteen waste and observing how our companions reacted. Most of us have handled the food thrown into the bucket with no problem. Someone else got a little bad
Emotions in Croatia
We talked about different emotions and what students think about the effect of the emotions on us. Then, they sorted emotions into good, bad and ok in a jamboard I shared with them.
Fears
Students from Croatia watched a video about fears and phobias, talked about their fears, what their biggest fears are, how they can help themselves to control their fears. They answered questions about themselves and their attitude towards fear on a worksheet. We have answered our project partners' questionnaire about fears.

Anger
Students of our school J.A. Ćolnić first watched a video about anger and anger managment. Then we talked about anger, it's manifestations, how to deal with it. In the end we learned some English idioms and different ways how to say that you are angry.
Sadness
Students from primary school J.A. Ćolnić have watched a video about sadness, made a wordcloud by using Mentimeter application and answered the question what makes them sad. Then, they drew a happy and sad brain:)
Happiness
Students watched a video about beautiful places on Earth and then drew their happy places.
Disgust
Students from Croatia first watched a video about disgust.They made a collaborative poster about things which disgust them.
They also made a game about emotions.
