Financial Analyst (Construction Estimator: Fernando)

Definition

• Construction cost estimators prepare estimates for building, road, and other construction projects.
• They may calculate the total cost of constructing or they may calculate the cost of just one part, such as the foundation

Salary

• 69500 per year

Education: You need a four year bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering, good communication skills, financial modeling, and budgeting skills.

Project Manager

• A project manager: organizes plans, and executes projects mean while having restraints such as budget and schedules, they also lead the team, and see a project through its closure.

• The average Project Manager makes around 95 thousand dollars yearly. Whilst the top earners make an estimated 145 thousand dollars annually.

• To become a civil engineer you need a Masters or doctorate in civil engineering

But why should we view affordable housing as a social justice issue?

• The houses in san jose are so expensive because of high demand , limited supply, and tech industry.

• Affordable housing is a social justice issue because everyone deserves a safe and stable place to live, regardless of their income.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Here in California there are major problems but the one we are gonna be talking about is the pricing of houses and the rent here. People struggle to make the average amount of rent per month and that causes them problem such as not being able to feed themselves, get new clothes, or pay their bills on time. For this reason we will be making affordable housing. With this, people can live a stable life until they can save enough money and find a better job.
