Assessing – What?
Key points of fidelity that we have observed:
Numbers of volunteers in CG trainings (too many or too few)
Frequency of meetings (usually too infrequent)
Insufficient staffing (too many CG per facilitator or too many facilitators per supervisor)
Poor quality facilitation (skipping steps, limiting dialogue, lack of preparation/practice)

Supporting – How?
Workshops:
Lessons from the CG manual: ideal model and WHY each factor is important
Give staff time after each lesson to identify differences between their program and the ideal model (e.g. diagram the current structure, map the houses, identify the steps that are most difficult)
