36 do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?
John 10
37 If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; 38 but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”

39 Again they sought to arrest him, but he escaped from their hands.
What would have been an appropriate reaction to Jesus and his “works”?
How did they react?
Why do you suppose that they reacted the way they did?
John 10
40 He went away again across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing at first, and there he remained. 41 And many came to him. And they said, “John did no sign, but everything that John said about this man was true.”
42 And many believed in him there.
Why did John’s followers react differently to Jesus than the followers of the Jewish religious leaders and the gentile sinners?
The Heart of God
( God’s mind, emotion, will and His determination of
what is right and wrong. His values and morals. His essence.)
1 Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,
Matthew 23:12
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
James 4:10
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
Isaiah 66:2
…….“These are the ones I look on with favor:� those who are humble and contrite inspirit,� and who tremble at my word.
Humbling yourself is not a trait that you posses but rather a choice you make and an action you take.
Psalm 25:9
He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.
Philippians 2
1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.�
Philippians 2
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
Philippians 2
5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death-even death on a cross!
Philippians 2
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place� and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I know now that there is such a thing as absolute truth.
It is true for all people, for all times, for all circumstances.
The source of that truth is GOD, and His word is true.
God cannot lie.
But Satan can. Satan is the father of lies, and you are on his side, part of his kingdom.
But I’m God’s child now and part of His Kingdom.
He’s given me His special armor to wear.
You might not be able to see it, but it’s real.
The belt of truth helps me have an unshakable faith in God’s word and helps me tell the truth, like God does.
The breastplate of righteousness helps me to do the right thing.
The shoes of peace let me go and share Jesus with others.
And the shield of faith and helmet of salvation help protect me from the enemy’s attacks.
You want me to give up and give in to temptation, but through prayer and wearing God’s armor, I can have victory!
John 9:39
39 Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”
