#9 Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time

Neon White is an amazing game

BUT

I just can’t do FPS it makes me nauseated.

I think if this game didn’t hurt my hands and my eyes it would be top 3 potential this year.

If I didn’t suck potential for top 5 game of my life. To bad I’m a loser

Amazing for Time Trials.

Fantasy Life is one my fav 3ds games of all time, probably a top 3 single player play time ever for me.

This was just really laggy and buggy, I broke the home island from a bug that I think was fixed eventually causing perma crashes in the roguelite mode. Want to play more but I need to fix that.

#7 Dragon Quest 3 HD

DQ3HD:

God I love a traditional cute Fantasy story I want to be the hero saving a princess and killing god to restore peace.

CONS: OLD jrpg grinding, INSANE difficulty ramps auto battle brain off for 10 hours -> one boss taking 4-5 hours of grinding…

It for sure feels old, but its a great game excited for 2+

Hammerwatch 2:

This is a much worse game than DQ3HD BUT it has the Lann buff. I like games with Lann playing this game again in 2-3 years when its fleshed out more I think will be REALLY fun… Right now its lacking felt kind of empty? I really liked the first one this ones okay.

PLUS I get to be a necromancer so I’m happy.

Dungeon Crawler Carl Slide

I went from 12 books read going into december ending it with 19

4 of those are Dungeon Crawler Carl over 2000 pages I must assume this is the most I’ve read in a single month.

What started as an okay fluffy fantasy book club stayed that way with some highs. Until I got to book 5… holy shit is this series good it hit me so hard I cried so much… Cho’gall is so important to me. Can’t wait to read the next ones.

Really fun reads and first 3 are very fluffy tropey just simple fun.

#5 Split Fiction

First game to deserve it’s own slide.

Story was really bad… until the very end.

Gameplay was fine… I liked the more gimmicky genre styles of It Takes Two.

But the last hour of Split Fiction is REALLY cool when its swapping between the two.

This game was so cool Narratively. I am the cute fantasy girl of my dreams <3

#4 Baldur’s Gate 3 (THE RANKING IS BY FUN)

Yea yea wtf is this doing at #4 blah blah blah. Sorry internet to bad you are not real.

This game is a MIRACLE it makes NO fucking sense how something like this is crafted. �BUT REALISTICALLY I don’t give a shit. If I’m judging off of videogame quality craftsmanship, these lists would look NOTHING like this do #3 and #2 probably don’t make the list. DQ3HD has to be top 3 and this is clear #1.

So heres the deal, me skipping voice acting RUINED act 1 and 2 I missed all the storytelling. This is my fault but it still makes the game worst for me. The combat kind of sucks… Divinity 1 CLEARS it. It was so hollow…

Only my Warlock felt cool everything else was pretty boring. It for sure lacked some fun and in hindsight the story did not matter at all… I think of this game and just mad my Cleric couldn’t be one the big three baddies. Like WTF I want to be a Markur Cleric…

Also everyone online talks about how the game is so hollow/non durge isn’t a real run. Why would I want to play this shit than? Like whats the point of choices if noone thinks I got the true story because of playing normal…

I will probably play it again it is a miracle of a game but it lacked some fun.

#3 Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance

First SMT game… FUCK do I need to play all the SMT games…

Let's compare this to DQ/FF. I have played almost every FF and I loved DQ11 and knew I wanted to play more DQ games, but it's not a huge rush.

Every few days I look at SMT games on steam and get ANGRY I have not played more.

Dragon quest is a want FF is a want SMT is borderline a need. This game is so fucking amazing, can’t wait to replay it on NG+ maybe 2027.

So much cool lore sending so many pictures to my friends just fucking amazing. This is I think truly what I want from monster games I thought DQM was monster peak… SMT might be better systems are similar but SO GOOD.

This has real potential to be my fav game series of all time.

#2 Offspring Fling

I don’t care what you think.

Play this game its better than whatever your fav platformer is.

The only issue with this game is steam deleted custom controller profile and the game default controller support is outdated.

FFS this game is so fucking amazing.

No controller issues this could be my fav platformer of all time but sadly… It’s replayability is hit a lot.

I assume this is #3 platformer for me.

What can I even say…

My fav story of all time was The world ends with you, but that game has so many flaws outside of its story.

Than I read Lonely songs of Lauren Dorr and it was close…

My fav story is Clair Obscura

My fav gameplay type with only like 10 games of active turn based combat I think is perfected here. MAYBE Ikenfell is a tiny bit better in pure active turn based aspect but the outside of combat is so much better in this.

First time I ever turned up music to listen to it more feeling like I was missing out if I couldn’t hear it.

Funny how I went from BG3 skipping ALL dialogue cutting it off missing so much storytelling to listening ot EVERY single line in Clair Obscura.

And ignore the music/gameplay can we talk about the art. This game is GORGEOUS I need a better computer for it. My life is worst for playing this game on medium and not ultra super high.

I can’t wait to play it again. The DLC is free as well.

Also want to talk about the miracle that is BG3 but can we take a moment to see how insane this game is.

Like turns out dedicated funded well people will make magic over and over. FFS modern game dev please stop all this bullshit you are doing with ultra trillion$ budgets. God why can’t this be the standard people who care making something they like it makes me think back to montreal UBisoft/EA era. That dev team just made banger after banger in like 3-4 different series since it was so dedicated.

Maybe gaming is just french who knows.

Artists made a game about art and it produced pure Art.

Just art… I’ve been more motivated to learn art this year and just fuck… I will learn art give me 2 and half more years I won’t be shit <3
