This is our 3-fold focus for �Newport Ward

Become Covenant Makers and Keepers

• Pray Daily for Guidance
• Attend & Participate in the Weekly Sacrament Meeting
• Encourage each other to take the next step on the Covenant Path (especially new and returning members)
• Focus on one person on our Ministering Lists each quarter to support with this.
• Hold Regular Temple Preparation Classes

Discover Your Ancestors

• Hold weekly Family History support sessions 12:15-1:15 each Sunday in the new Family History Centre (the Library)
• Work with Primary and Youth leaders to hold Family History focused activities
• Help new and returning members to start their Family History
• Support the regular Gwent Family History Society that use our building each month
• Have an annual ‘get to know my ancestor’ Fireside to share stories

Participate in Temple Work

• Share in the relevant WhatsApp groups any spare seats when you are travelling to the Temple
• Have two Ward Temple Trips each year
• Support Stake Temple Trips
• Help new and returning members to visit the Temple
• Have an annual Temple-focused Fireside
