Welcome to the workshop “Connecting Classroom Learning to Climate Solutions in Massachusetts Communities.”

Community Liaison – CC – HGCF

CC mission: Working towards a world in which young people lead their communities in the arena of climate change solutions.

1 – Identify climate solutions that are “doable” for the average person.

2 - Help educators incorporate those climate solutions into their lessons that culminate in projects that can be displayed.

3 – Help educators present student projects to their peers, their families, and the larger community at a CC Fair. As a result, students become teachers.

As teachers we know the best way to learn is to teach.

To accomplish all this we provide a FREE CG. No obligation to go further! So if you just want to look it over, select ideas, use them – that’s great! We are still achieving our mission of getting climate change solutions into the classrooms.

However, school districts can go further and hold a CC Fair, virtually or in person. We provide grants of up to $5000 to school districts that hold fairs.

This way, we encourage entire communities to adopt and advocate for the solutions.

Our belief is that connecting student projects to actions by parents leads to the most impactful change.
