How to use the dictionary
Τhis is a mini picture dictionary which includes six different forms of cyberbullying. On the next slide there are six highlighted letters each of which corresponds to a different type of cyberbullying. Click on each highlighted letter to read the definition of the cyberbullying type starting with this letter and see a related picture. Then click ‘Back’ to continue your search. On the final slide click ‘Next’ to see the references.
Catfishing: when a person creates a fictional persona or fake identity on social media for deceptive purposes
exclusion: when someone is deliberately excluded from online activities
fraping: when someone logs into somebody else’s social media account and posts inappropriate content in their name
harassment: abusive or threatening messages that are sent online
outing: publicly humiliating someone by online posting private or embarrassing information without their consent
spreading rumours: posting unreal information about someone on the social media in order to humiliate them
