What is Information Technology

• Information Technologies are systems of hardware and/or software that process, exchange, store and/or present information using electrical, magnetic and/or electromagnetic energy.

• IT merges computing with high-speed communications links carrying data, sound, and video.
• Examples:

• *Various handheld devices such as Smart phones
