5th mobility
5-8/5/2025 in Daruvar,Croatia
Topic:gender inequality, equal opportunities and removing the barriers of discrimination towards women.
Objectives: to develop self-knowledge and self consciousness about gender equality.
Exploring Croatia, Zagreb and Daruvar : Students worked in international teams to discover the cultural, historical and modern highlights of Zagreb: Upper Town (Gornji Grad), St. Mark's Church, Zagreb Cathedral, Stone Gate, Dolac Market, Lower Town (Donji Grad).
By working in international teams, students gained diverse perspectives on these highlights, fostering cross-cultural understanding and enhancing their research and presentation skills. They had the opportunity to analyze the interplay between old and new, and how Zagreb blends its rich heritage with modern life.
Nature and city vibes
Our Erasmus+ journey toward inclusion and well-being brought us to one of Zagreb’s most joyful spots: “Haha House”! In a place where nothing is quite what it seems, we learned that laughter truly brings people together.Different cultures, same smile-that’s the power of connection.
Zagreb’s green heart: The city’s parks and gardens gave us a chance to pause, relax and reconnect.
Cultural activities
Through interactive presentations, quizzes and cultural showcases, the students explored Croatia’s rich history, national symbols, traditional food, music and customs. It was a fun and educational way to deepen our understanding of the hosting country!

Gender equality in Advertising- A thought provoking workshop led by Romana Zelda and Sanja Sulik
The session focused on analyzing real-life advertisements. Students were encouraged to comment, reflect and discuss how media shapes our perceptions of gender roles. The discussions were insightful and eye-opening, raising awareness about stereotypes and the power of representation in everyday media.
Ice Breaking Activities
Building a Culture of Respect- One message at a Time.
In a beautiful moment of unity during our Erasmus+ mobility, students from all partner countries came together to promote tolerance, inclusion and mutual respect. They wrote personal messages on what respect means to them and left colorful palm prints on the Erasmus Wall - a lasting symbol of diversity and solidarity. This creative activity reminded us that respect starts with small actions and shared values. Together we are building bridges, not walls.
“I AM WHAT I AM” : workshop led by Teresa Diogo
During this workshop each student and teacher created a personal ID card to introduce themselves. As we shared our cards, we discovered many similarities, such as favorite hobbies and shared values, but also unique differences in our backgrounds, cultures and dreams. The activity helped us appreciate what makes each of us special while also showing how much we have in common.
“Women throughout history” , workshop led by
Zeta Giampazolia
In this workshop we explored the lives and legacies of influential women throughout history. From pioneers like Marie Curie and Rosa Parks to contemporary leaders like Malala Yousafzai, we learned how their courage , innovation and resilience shaped society. The session inspired us to reflect on the ongoing impact of women's contributions and encouraged us to recognize the importance of equality, empowerment and voice in our lives.
“Gender stereotypes”, workshop led by Marco Pina
In this workshop we discussed the stereotypes often associated with gender and how they influence our perceptions, behavior and opportunities. Through interactive activities and open conversation, we challenged common assumptions and reflected on the importance of treating everyone as individuals rather than limiting them based on gender. The session encouraged us to think critically, embrace diversity and promote equality in our daily lives.
“Equality through collage art”, workshop led by Urfet Koca
In this workshop students created powerful posters about gender equality by cutting and assembling images and ads from magazines. Through this collage activity, they expressed their views on stereotypes, empowerment and equal rights in a creative thought-provoking way.The posters reflected both individual expression and a collective stand for a fairer, more inclusive society.
“International program”: students from all partner countries shared traditional dances and songs, offering a vibrant showcase of cultural diversity and unity. Each performance reflected the unique heritage of their country, while also celebrating the spirit of collaboration and friendship.
“Reimagining Sport with Gender Equality”
This activity encouraged students to envision a world where sports are fully inclusive, breaking down gender barriers and promoting equal opportunities for all.
