Your Task

For this task, you are going to write a short story. And by short, I mean short. This story can only be two pages (or one page front and back), and MUST BE double spaced typed.

There must be a clear beginning, middle, and end, and follow a clear plot diagram (include rising action, climax, falling action, conflict, theme, setting, protagonist, and antagonist).

You can also use one of the prompts in this slideshow.

In this writing piece, you must show you can use the most recent skills we have learned.

These include:

-excellent use of adjectives and adverbs

-use of figurative language

-proper capitalization

-use of colons and semi-colons

-quotations

Science Fiction

Your story will be a science fiction story. This means you must include:

-Scientifically accurate information (You will have a research portion for this)
