MEET COACH HARRIS

Welcome to the Running Brushy family (a.k.a. The Brush) and the dance department! My name is Jessica Harris, and I am the dance teacher and director of the dance team here at RBMS. I’m so excited to begin my 11th year teaching at the RBMS, and I can’t wait to meet each of you! Prior to arriving at RBMS I was a HS director and dance teacher for 7 years. I have 36 years of dance experience. I grew up training at dance studios, competing, attending conventions and intensives, and was on the Orange Pride Dance Team at Sam Houston State University (Eat’em up Kats). I live in Cedar Park with my husband and 2 daughters. My oldest is an 8th grader this year at Henry MS and my youngest is in 4th grade at Knowles.

I look forward to making memories with each of you as we dance our way through the school year! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions you have. Get ready to bust a move!

WHAT TO WEAR: black dance department uniform top and any comfortable bottoms that allow for maximum movement such as leggings, shorts, sweats, spandex, etc. Please make sure you are NEVER wearing jeans/denim or thick cargo pants. Choose clothing that is NOT restrictive.
