The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series has the same general plot in every book...the depressing story of a kid who gets in trouble, who doesn’t know how to fit in with other kids, and gets picked on by the bullies at the school. There are a lot of bathroom humor and bad lines that are sometime pointless. After you’ve read one book you pretty much know what the other books are about. I would not recomment reading this book.
The Theodore Boone Kid Lawyer series is AWESOME! You have to follow the clues in the story to help solve a mystery. You learn about what lawyers and law enforcement work is like and what it would be like to become one! The story is engaging and keeps you thinking throughout the book. I would recomment this book to anyone who loves a good mystery and action story.
