Bugs, bugs, bugs!!
Choose a book to read. Read for 15 mins each day. Record yourself reading your favourite part if you can. Aimee would love a book review for the library. | Set a timer for 5 minutes. Go to the garden and collect as many bugs as you can and create a tally chart to show what you found. | Use Lego to create an awesome bug and habitat. Label your bug and describe its features. | Record yourself being a traditional ‘kiwi kid’ and email this to Mrs G. kariene@ohaeawaiprimary.co.nz |
You find 24 bugs in the garden on Wednesday and 15 bugs on Thursday. How many bugs altogether? Make up some of your own bug themed maths problems. Try to include subtraction, addition, multiplication and division. | Use recycled materials to make a bug. Describe what your bug is made out of and what it can do. | Write an animal/bug report. Title Introduction Paragraphs to inform (apparence, habitat, diet, life span, predators…) Conclusion | Create a pop art using different bugs that you sketch.
