MAVERICK LOBO

Ford Lobo Hat – Creative Direction

2 of 9

This guide draws from the Maverick Lobo's design to inspire the hat. Each element, including stitching, wheels, engravings, and finishes, serves as a reference to shape different aspects of the final piece. It’s not meant to limit creativity. Gilberto has full freedom to decide what works best. This is simply a source of inspiration.

The Maverick Lobo’s exterior sets the tone: deep, dark, and commanding.

The leather we selected has a shiny, structured finish that mirrors the body of the truck, bold, reflective, and full of presence.

The Maverick Lobo’s stitching is designed with intention. Dual-tone threads in blue and yellow bring contrast and rhythm to the black interior, giving the design movement without overpowering it.

We’re referencing this detail as the foundation for our own stitch pattern in the hat.

The Lobo logo uses a bold, clean type that feels carved with intention.

We’re bringing that same energy into the symbol at the top of the hat. The design can incorporate the exact Lobo type as part of the mark.

The Maverick Lobo’s dark rim wheels offer more than function. Their circular form and detailed geometry create a strong visual rhythm

We’re using that wheel pattern as inspiration for the engraving at the top of the hat. It can be blended with the Lobo insignia to form a unified symbol.

The Ford emblem is timeless, a mark of trust, craft, and heritage. Set into the grille, it is framed by a precise pattern that feels both mechanical and elegant, turning function into design.

This same composition can be translated to the back of the hat, placing the Ford logo at the center, surrounded by a pattern inspired by the grille’s vertical rhythm.

Just like the ornaments that hang from rearview mirrors, this small pendant can live on the hat as an optional accessory. It adds a personal touch, a nod to tradition, and a hint of mystery.

This detail can be incorporated into the hat as a subtle pendant, similar to other design elements.

• Vehicle in use • Vehicle in use • Vehicle in use

This board offers visual cues for Gilberto’s hat design, drawing from textured metals, engravings, and aerodynamic forms inspired by custom vehicles like the Lobo. Mesoamerican motifs and mechanical details add cultural depth and edge. The forest shot hints at dynamic movement, not setting. These are flexible references meant to guide, not dictate, his creative process.

Reference only: replace with the actual Maverick Lobo headlight design.
