The theme was celebrations you can bring a cake to instead of a bottle of wine.

5 of 24

Each scene needed to have its own lighting and vibe to create a distinct celebratory scene.

6 of 24

We used match cuts of each action to show that no matter the party, the presentation and ceremony of cutting the cake will always be the same

7 of 24

The cakes are made up of thin layers of crepês, so we used macro shots to showcase the layers.

8 of 24

We had 5 cakes for each flavor, so that we had flexibility in the shoot. Each time we cut the cake we had to prep a new cake for a new take.

9 of 24

Props were hand picked by our team to create a look and feel of an Upper East Side apartment.

10 of 24

Movement was a key element to bringing the spot to life. We used a Jib and curved Dana Dolly to add motion.

11 of 24

We cast two hand models to bring in a human element in the spot.

Lighting is something we take really seriously at Visual Country, we know that how a product or scene is lit helps communicate the mood or overall theme of a project. We meticulously work through the lighting design to ensure that the room feels real, that the product looks perfect, or that the mood lands just where it needs to be.
