Chop Saw

  • Used for cutting straight lines
  • Wood
  • Aluminum
  • Plastics
  • Never remove or hold the guards out of the way while using the miter saw.
  • Be sure all scraps have been removed from around the blade before using saw.
  • Never allow your hands or fingers closer than 6".
  • Avoid cutting any material shorter than 8".
  • Always place material against fence, never attempt to cut anything without material firmly held in place.
  • Allow the blade to reach full speed before attempting to cut.

Drill Press

  • Drill holes using a drill bit.
  • Used for precise holes, similar to a hand drill but with more precision and power
  • Secure part using clamp, or hand
  • Line up the bit BEFORE TURNING ON
  • Turn on press and turn handle slowly to make a hole.
