Game Idea

Meow Madness is a party arcade game revolved around casual gameplay and whimsical graphics that players can jump into play at anytime.

In the game, players directly control a machine to grab onto various cats in different fantasy environments, while combating against sudden gameplay events that could stand in their way.

Designed with user-friendly controls, Meow Madness is designed for both loopable replayability where players can earn rewards in single player mode or socially engage with others in a fun family player vs player environment.

Gameplay

Players are transported to a virtual world teeming with arcade machines, granting them the freedom to choose their desired game mode and select which machine they wish to play on.

Players play as claws in the claw machine, using simple direction control key to move their claw in the game play scene and try to grasp the target (cat).

Controls

When considering the controls, we took existing ergonomics into account, ensuring that players can dive into the game swiftly by utilizing controls they are already familiar with.

INGAME:

MENU:

  • 4-Directional Arrow Keys for player to move the claw
  • SELECT Button that the players press to grab a cat
  • 2 Skill Buttons for Special Abilities that players can activate �(PVP Mode only)
  • A Pause Button to temporarily stop gameplay and allow the player to resume anytime

Meow Madness currently features 2 levels where both free mode and multiplayer mode are incorporated. We are open to incorporate more.

Outer Space - Galactic Gateway

    • Embark on an otherworldly adventure as cats float within an astronaut's helmet amidst a cosmic backdrop of meteorites, satellites, and more.
    • The claws move along the edge of the mask of the helmet, allowing the claw to move in clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

Holiday Beach - Catfish

    • Dive into a captivating underwater world where players control a formidable kraken, emerging from sunken wreckage, to capture scattered cats across the ocean's surface.�The claw in the Holiday Beach level is a Kraken tentacles so the entire movement will be from bottom to the top.
