A Note on Language

  • We acknowledge that terms like POC or BIPOC are inadequate ways of describing ourselves.

  • We acknowledge our varied diaspora histories and differences

  • We can build a container that centers our lived experiences while understanding that anti-Blackness is the fulcrum of white supremacy.

Our Approach

  •
  • We approach our work with a social justice framework for understanding psychedelic substances and ending the war on drugs.

  • By organizing and educating ourselves, we aim to create an intergenerational movement of practitioners, advocates, healers, professionals, community members to go beyond the mantra of “psychedelics will make the world better.”

  • We deliberately integrate our psychedelic experiences and lived experiences with oppression into our work.

Why We Do the Work

  • There is a great need for our work. People of color are continually left out of the research and narratives on psychedelics, yet, our health outcomes show a clear picture of disparities woven into the fabric of our society.

  • We refuse to let our communities’ needs be an afterthought. We uplift the voices of diverse organizers, practitioners, and researchers.
