Hi Freedom Elementary Families,

I can’t believe the holiday season is here and we have started winter vacation. Please keep in mind that:

There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, December 22nd and Tuesday, December 23rd. We hope you all enjoy the extended Holiday/Winter Vacation!!!

The school office will be closed for most of the vacation weeks. If you need to reach Amanda or myself, please send us an email. We check our email on a regular basis.

Mrs. Chaput

The staff at FES would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to Mrs. Kate Chaput for her outstanding service as a long-term substitute teacher at Freedom Elementary School since September for Mrs. Donovan’s maternity leave. From her very first day, Mrs. Chaput stepped into her role with compassion, dedication, and a genuine love for students. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every child felt safe, supported, and valued. Her caring nature and calm presence created a positive classroom environment where students could grow both academically and socially. Mrs. Chaput will be greatly missed by students, staff, and families alike, however we are looking forward to Mrs. Donovan’s return after the winter vacation. While her time with us as a long-term substitute may be coming to an end, she will always have a home and a place at Freedom Elementary School. We are incredibly thankful for the impact she has made and the care she has shown to our community. Please join us in thanking Mrs. Kate Chaput for her exceptional service, her heart for children, and her unwavering commitment to excellence in education. We wish her continued success and hope our paths cross again in the future.

The Holiday Resale Store was a huge hit. Thank you to everyone who donated to this wonderful cause!!! Every student went home with more than 4 gifts!!!

We had several busy days and nights this past week. Please check out all the photos from all our events on the following pages. A huge thank you to our PTO, classroom teachers, FES staff and parents for making it all happen. We couldn’t have done it without all of you.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and I look forward to seeing everyone on January 5, 2026!!!

Congratulations to Mrs. Caputo and her NH Chronicle Debut last evening. The students that attended enjoyed hearing your stories and completing their craft. If you get a chance, check our her Organization: Once Upon A Story Hour!!
