WHY MYKONOS ?

We decide to do a presentation of Mykonos, because we think is a interesting and beautiful island. The weather is also great. As we are going in summer we can swim and relax in the incredible beaches that are there.

MYKONOS

Mykonos is an island, that is situated in the south - east of Greece. It isn’t the capital city of Greece, but it is a very beautiful and famous island. The water of the beaches is crystallin. Like in all greece, most of the houses are white. It is a beautiful place to visit.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Mykonos is a very hot island, so you should travel with light clothes and always take a swimsuit in your bag. In all year the average temperature is 17.8 Cº. Then, we will have to take with us some trainers. Finally we have to take white clothes to wear in some partie. We have to carry cream to the beach to not get burn. Then, with the sun cream we should take sunglasses because there is a lot of sunshine.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

• Also you should take a camera to take a lot of photos. This island is the one of the most beautiful places of the world, so you can take advantage of it. Then you can bring a map, because all the houses are similar. With it you can located better.

FLIGHT

Our flight will take off the 22nd of June and we will return in the 26th. We will do 2 scales. We will take the plane in Bilbao for arrive to Istanbul. Then, from Istanbul we’ll fly to Atenas and then from Atenas to Mykonos. The trip will cost 2.986€ per person.

HOTEL BOHEME

This hotel is situated 0,8 km from the city center, in the west of Mykonos. The hotel oferess us free wifi and breakfast, it also has a swimming pool, a bar and a restaurant. The pets are also allowed in it.

As is near to the city center we have the choice to choose the restaurant we want to have a meal.

It will cost 342€ per night.

SIGHTSEEING

Mykonos is an island situated in the south of Europe and in the south east of Greece. As is an island so it isn’t landlocked.

The most used transport on this island is the motorcycle so you can go in this way to visit all the good and interesting places of Mykonos :

The houses of this place are very special, so you can go to visit them.

The lighthouse of Armenistis. To get to the lighthouse there are roads, many of them complicated, so you have to wear good shoes.

The mills (Kato Myli) : They are very famous. They were built in XVI. Nowadays they have become the most photogenic corners of the island.

It is located in the southern o9f the island. The houses are build on water. That’s where his name comes from. Is one of the most photogenic places in the world

The sunset of this island is essential.The best place to see it is a bar of the little Venice of Mykonos.

ACTIVITIES

We can go to sail. According to the opinions of people that have tried this activity, it’s an incredible experience, the guys that stay with you in the trip are very nice people and also the food is good.

It is a very interesting activity, because you can visit new places and relax. Also allows you to stop at several places, also in some moments you can get into the water. With the glasses to the fish swimming in the sea.

GOING TO EAT

Every day, we are going to have breakfast in the hotel. More or less at nine o’clock.

In the evenings, we will have lunch in a restaurant.

The dinner, we will have it in a restaurant too, sometimes we will have it near the beach because we are going to spend the day there.

We should taste the “moussaka”. Moussaka is a traditional food of greece. People that have tried it, say that it is a delicious food.

WHERE CAN WE GO OUT?

In Mykonos, there are a lot of pubs and nightclubs. For example you can go to the Paradise Club. Is a place that has a lot of music, is full of people, are a lot of dj-s and is a very famous place to dance etc. There are also parties on the beach where people dress in white. In these parties there are usually many people.

BEACH

The beaches in Mykonos are very famous. One place to visit or to go, is the Paralia Megali Ammos beach:

Is a very calm place that you can go there to relax… One advantage is that this beach is near our hotel. It's a perfect place to relax. The water is crystalline and there are a lot of fishes, that we can see them perfectly.

We will go to the beach every mornings to take advantage of.

This is our dream and we hope that one day it will come true
