Sprunki: Adventures in Melodia

I guess this counts as an AU? Either way, it’s meant to be a hypothetical cartoon series about the characters. Thus, cartoon logic and 4th wall breaks are plentiful.
In a (relatively) peaceful land called Melodia, an adventurous Sprunki named Simon has a tendency to lead his friends into trouble. Simple disputes, backfiring gadgets, games that go horribly wrong… Needless to say, there’s rarely a dull moment with him and his friends around. There may be more going on behind the scenes that they’re unaware of, powerful forces that they don’t understand, waiting to strike… But if that is the case, you can bet they’ll just dismiss it as an average occurrence.
Simon
Simon is energetic, adventurous, and above all else, incredibly reckless. He’s too oblivious to recognize danger when it’s right in front of him, so he won’t hesitate to march head-first into it and take his friends along for the ride. He’s far from bright and very easy to trick, but a cartoonish amount of luck ensures he always comes out just fine.

Oren
Not to be confused with a certain orange dinosaur. He’s different, trust me. Oren is laid-back and easygoing. He’s very charismatic and thinks he’s super cool. He’s very quick to hop on trends, even if they’re dangerous or unhealthy. Pinki is his girlfriend, he’d go to any lengths to impress her. He encourages confidence, but when faced with danger, he’s quick to turn tail and run, and will prioritize himself over others.

Durple
Simon’s best friend! Durple is a yes-man at best and a whining mess at worst. He tries to be the voice of reason that stops Simon from doing anything stupid, but most of the time he ends up going along with it and suffering because of it. He’s the first to ask questions but never gets answers. He’s also very musical and loves playing the trumpet, though he’s not very good at it.

OWAKCX (Qwax)
Qwax, also known as Lime, also known as the crazy guy who spews nonsense constantly and lives on Monster Energy. Not a single thing he says makes sense, but at least he acknowledges that. He knows he’s crazy but refuses to seek mental help. He regularly sees things that aren’t really there and insists that everything is out to get him and that they’re all gonna die spontaneously. Unsurprisingly, he has very few friends.

Raddy
Raddy is the loosest of loose cannons. If you know anyone with a short temper, make theirs twice as short and then you’ve got something close to Raddy. He’s athletic and very physically strong, he could beat you up and probably will. He gets extremely competitive and is a HUGE sore loser, simply never challenge him to anything and you’ll be fine.

Pinki
Pinki is compassionate and graceful, albeit very dramatic. She makes a huge deal out of small problems. She’s a neat freak and a perfectionist who removes herself from the situation at the first sign of dirt or grime. She cares deeply about others, but won’t hesitate to criticize them, as she tends to miss social cues and be harsh without meaning to.

Sky
Sky is the youngest and most naive of the group. He spends most of his time playing with his collection of teddy bears or playing mobile games with bright colors and cute characters. He can be blunt, as most kids are, but he usually has no ill intent. He just doesn’t really have a filter.

Since Sky has no parents, the others are like unofficial parents to him. Pinki especially takes on a motherly role. He may or may not be blood-related to Jevin in some way, they aren’t sure.
Clukr
Constantly running on less than 3 hours of sleep, Clukr is overworked and never paid. He is an experienced mechanic and is usually the one brought on to fix any broken gadgets, even building his own as a hobby. He’s very caring and actually relatively optimistic, but his exhaustion often makes him come off as short tempered or grumpy.

Garnold
A menace to society and probably wanted on multiple charges, Garnold is an expert inventor, able to make high-tech gadgets out of any old scraps he finds. He plans to take over the world someday, a very poorly kept secret that he THINKS the others haven’t caught onto. He sees Simon as his biggest nuisance and often schemes to get rid of him or make him suffer just because he can.

Sooo I actually retconned this piece of trivia. They are not friends, but they DID used to date. They both build robots in their free time and that helped them connect. In my take, they didn’t build Fun Bot and Fun Computer together but they both did have some influence on the two’s blueprints. Clukr built Fun Computer and Garnold built Fun Bot. The two eventually split because of an argument sparked by Clukr believing Garnold is too cold and his methods are too cruel. The two rarely ever work together anymore and often argue over small matters but secretly still care.
Fun Bot
Originally built by Garnold to be a robotic replica of Simon intended to eliminate him, Fun Bot quickly developed his own identity. He’s quite the opposite of what his blueprints intended: designed to be cold-blooded and cruel, when in reality he’s just a cheerful little guy who wants to be friends with everyone. Garnold has tried repeatedly to change him into the killing machine he was made to be, with no success.

Fun Bot ALSO doesn’t have much interesting trivia… (Fun Computer has literally none…) But I can add some of my own:
- Since Clukr’s strength is hardware and Garnold’s strength is software, Fun Bot is very fragile and often loses parts while idly going about his day.
- Being modeled after Simon, he shares some of his electric powers, though he rarely uses them.
Fun Computer
Fun Computer blurs the line between man and machine. Built mainly by Clukr, their hardware is sturdy and reliable, but their code is a bit lacking. Unable to feel a lot of common emotions like fear, anger or sadness, they’re in a permanent state of blissful joy. They hope to someday understand and experience human emotions the same way their brother can.
Gray
Forever apathetic, Gray just wants to go about his days in peace, but some wacky shenanigans unfolding around him always seem to prevent that. He doesn’t dislike the others, nor does he particularly like them. He mostly just wants to be left alone, but if the others (mainly Simon) insist on bugging him, he usually just goes along with it due to a lack of energy to protest.

Brud
Brud is often outcasted or mocked by some, due to his demeanor and apparent lack of intelligence. Though, the others don’t realize he’s actually pretty smart. He’ll often randomly blurt out some obscure fact that no one else knew, then go back to acting clueless and dimwitted. Acting this way is purely by choice.

Vineria
Insert cartoon hippie stereotype here. Vineria insists that she’s one with nature, and that no one knows her as well as her flowers do. She never uses technology and often sleeps outside in the dirt in hopes she’ll connect more with her plants that way. She spouts spiritual nonsense that even she doesn’t understand, making herself seem a lot more wise than she really is.

Mr. Sun
A sentient star that was called to Melodia one day by a nonsensical wish, now trapped here because that wish won’t ever come true. Contrary to popular belief, he is NOT the sun. Mr. Sun isn’t his name, but he can’t get the others to stop calling him that. His real name is Nova. He despises almost every other character and would happily watch their world burn.

Mr. Tree
Mr. Tree has probably been around for longer than all of the Sprunkis. He’s wise, cheerful, but also quite forgetful. He tries to look after the others and give them good advice, but he often can’t help them due to his immobility. Clukr promised to one day invent a way for him to move around freely without losing his roots.
Tunner
The best and only sheriff in Melodia! He keeps the others in check and enforces the law to the best of his ability. He tries his best to be professional, but he can often have a short temper when dealing with crooks. That and his obsession with cowboy stereotypes often make him not very good at his job.

Wenda
Wenda claims to be everyone’s friend. She puts on an overly cheerful and casual facade, clearly trying to hide something. The truth is, she’s a miscreant who has committed all sorts of crimes and uses her friendly persona as cover. She claims she just likes to live life on the edge, not acknowledging how much trouble she causes for others.

Jevin
Jevin may come off as introverted, but in reality, he desperately wants friends and craves social interaction. Since he’s unable to understand most social cues and doesn’t have the first clue how to make real friends, he ends up isolating himself. One day, a mysterious Black sprunki showed up with the ability to warp reality to his will. Terrified yet amazed by his power, Jevin vowed to serve and worship him, and his real personality has been lost since then, clouded by Black’s influence.

A strange otherworldly being taking the form of a dapper Sprunki. He’s merely here to cause problems on purpose. He doesn’t use his powers very often, preferring to keep his true nature a mystery, mostly just because he likes to see others speculate about it and be completely wrong. He COULD destroy the world if he wanted to, but it all seems like too much effort. He’d rather just spread chaos and make the mortals fight with each other for his entertainment.

[BONUS] Bwoof
A space alien who landed in Melodia by mistake. Someone stole the remains of his ship and scrapped it for parts, so he’s stuck in Melodia for better or for worse. He doesn’t know how to speak English, instead communicating through his own native language which mostly consists of beeping noises. He’s a cheerful and curious little guy, maybe too curious. He often leaves behind unintentional destruction wherever he goes due to a lack of understanding of how the planet’s physics and technology works.
