School Success Resources

Please don’t wait until your child has missed many days. If attendance is becoming difficult for any reason, please let us know. We are here to help - not judge.

Reporting an Absence

If your child is ill, please report the absence using the reporting form - https://bit.ly/4gb7368 - or contact Ms. Grant in our main office.

If your child is absent due to illness for more than two days, please provide a doctor's note upon return.

If you are planning an absence of four or more days for a non-illness-related reason, prior approval from administration is required. Please email Ms. Imbriale at slimbriale@smcps.org before the absence.

CARES Requests

CARES stands for clothing, assistance, resources, essentials and snack sacks. CPCS aims to provide support and supplies that will help all students be successful at school.

You can request a CARES package any time online - https://bit.ly/4cgjICs -

and any items that we have in stock will be sent home

the following Friday.

Thank you for understanding that our ability to help is solely based on the generosity of our CPCS community (which, is a wonderful group!) We may not have all items in stock all of the time, but we will request them on our wish list.

Shoe Fund

SMCPS Shoe Fund provides shoes to school age child who are in need of shoes and have limited financial resources. Please complete the request form if you are in need. Shoes will be delivered to the student’s school site.

Community Mental Health

If students and/or families are in need of mental health support, multiple resources and services are ready to help. School counselors and social workers may not be able to provide the depth of service that a mental health need requires; therefore we have created a resource sheet for families listing services in our community that provide quality support.
