3. Take Home Naloxone will be documented on the MAR with an Action of “ED Take Home MED”
4. The Naloxone will display as a Take Home medication on the AVS
Place patient information label on box prior to dispensing. This replaces the pharmacy label. There is no bar code to scan and medication will appear in the MAR as “hospital dispense”

Nurse removes Hope Kit from Omnicell "Naloxone Nasal Unit ES” Only 2 boxes/kit
Nurse labels naloxone box
