What makes you happy?

Write a list of at least 10 things that make you feel happy. Here are a couple of my examples

1. Lying on my bed reading with the warm sun flooding through my crystal clear windows.
2. Having my darling son rest his warm head against my shoulder while he tightly hugs me.
3. Watching dogs sprinting and frolicking at the beach on a hot summer's day.

What do you think the animals at zoo’s around the world are up to since they have been closed to visitors?

Open a new doc and write a story that tells a day in life of a zoo animal.

​

Don’t forget to include…

• A beginning, middle and end
• Detail so that your reader gets a picture in your head.
• Give your characters names and make sure we know what type of animals they are.
• Be creative and have fun with your writing
