Things you should know before you get started

  • You’re 100% aligned with our mission

  • You’re 100% aligned with our values & working principles

  • You promote the project and create a team of + 4 people (diversity of background and thinking) to form the Founders team with you

  • You & the team have 15h-20h per week to dedicate to CYF for 12 months

Make sure:

  • Present to CYF HQ “Why this group should be the Founders team”

  • Sign the Founders Agreement

  • Present a Strategy Planning, including potential partners (at least 5 NGOs) & potential sponsors (at least 5 companies)

  1. Run BOS for 70 people (40% female)

  • Make sure 50 people complete Intro to Digital (and at least 40 of them have English B1 level)

  • Identify active volunteers → who are emerging leaders

Running the Pilot

  • The group will only become a CYF Chapter if they complete the Candidate phase successfully:

Achievement of 50-60% employment rate from their cohort

CodeYourFuture is a volunteer-led organisation.

The founding team’s mission is to build a community that will share the tasks around programme delivery.

Founders are not expected to run trainings and mentorship programmes.
