CD Cover Project

Design Directions:

  • Design the front and the back cover for a CD to capture the theme or spirit of your book.
    • Cite if you use another person's work
  • Be sure the name of the book, plus the title of the hit single appears on the front cover along with a picture or design.
  • On the back cover, create song titles for seven additional original songs (highlighting themes from the book) that relate to the book and to the characters' experiences.
  • Each song title must be accompanied by at least three sentences that explain why you chose the title, how the title is relevant to the book and what connection (text, world, self) can be made with the title.
  • Every connection must be used once and each connection must be unique and specific.
  • All work is to be completed on your Google Docs account

Tips:

  • Highlight and type to change the information on the template
  • Do not change the size of the picture or text boxes. They are dimensioned to fit a CD case.
  • To make the text easy to read:
    • Use plain style fonts
    • Use contrasting colors
