Thank you for the Feedback & Questions

  • Need clear expectations
  • How will we implement this in an elementary classroom?
  • All staff should be included in the work
  • More time to collaborate - more “talk time”- work with colleagues
  • More movement- Mix-up the tables
  • Need Examples- need more knowledge
  • Moving too fast - Moving too slowly

Questions & Concerns

  • What are expectations for modules?
  • District expectations?
  • What about Grades/Reporting Systems?
  • What about district vs School Performance Indicators

Concerns:

  • Time to do the work
  • One step at a time- worried we will move too quickly

Possible ways to bring the work to your classrooms:

  • Using Performance Indicators with with students, parents, colleagues
  • Having clear learning targets that align with Performance indicators
  • Creating Summative assessments aligned with Performance Indicators that ask our students to apply the skills and knowledge they have learned
  • Using formative assessments to meet the needs of student by adjusting instruction
