Background: I have been teaching since 1997 and have taught: 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th grade (Language Arts / Social Studies). I have also coached youth soccer and middle/high school wrestling.

Philosophy:

  • I want every child to feel successful each day, and they leave eclass ager to have physical education class again.
  • Engage children in sufficient amounts of moderate to vigorous physical activity to improve and/or maintain their physical health and well being.
  • Another goal is to encourage children to apply the skills and knowledge they acquire during class to seek opportunities to be active outside of school, and as part of a healthy lifestyle.
  • My instructional units are planned to develop motor, personal, and social skills.
