Reach out to Manship alums, faculty and staff via LinkedIn to ask for advice in searching for career opportunities in cities or industries that interest you. Select the ALUMNI tab on the LSU LinkedIn page and filter by job type, company, industry or location then message them for a connection.
Make sure your LinkedIn profile is up-to-date and has the latest keywords for your industry. Update your Handshake profile and use the OCC for a FREE headshot (student or alums). Understand how recruiters search in LinkedIn.

Become a member of a professional association and gain access to their specific job boards, professional development events and training opportunities. Start by getting involved with a student organization, some Manship affiliated are shown below. Become a member, but be sure to join a committee or run for an office, these show leadership skills and can be a great resume builder.
