  • Staffing and buisness
    • Reorganization and publishing of system though book and extended workshops / training will bring a larger group of people
    • Commercialization is a key effort to allow people to do this full time, Thus training is critical to allow people to join faster and better. To make an open economy, needs to be able to provide money.
  • Housing
    • A couple builds this year
    • Training of users and business next year.
  • Food
    • Microfactory / Printer
      • MK8 is the standard. Needs upgraded,
      • to simple prusa i3MK2 Extruder
        • Not good for rubber; does not handle 3mm filla
        • Only 1.75
      • All metal extruder LULZBOT
      • Aero Struder option, $150, a bit pricey
      • Design needs
        • Rubber
        • Plastic
        • 3mm filament all types of materials as possible
        • High temp capabilities
      • Volcano extruder design
  • Seed ECO / Factory farm status
    • Biodigester almost done
    • Ionizer needed for Water treatment
    • Rest of utilities done

Notes

  • Seed ECO / Factory farm status
    • Circuit Mill work is hitting heavy again with personal back from hiatus. Very good recent progress
  • Bioreactor! For Bioplastic
    • Search for PLA on the wiki. We have very good documentation for a extruder
    • Have a design that could make
    • PLA from sugar or
    • cellulose acetate. Or
    • Starch.
  • Pipe workbench totally worked out. Ruslan is working on parametric rendering of the printer frames.

Notes 2

  • ABE - Lifetrac and powercube
    • Issues with positioning pipe fittings and navigating around the cooling system.
    • Cube may need narrowed, or plumbing adjusted.

Macro Testing - PVC Pipe

Macros were moved to a single OSE piping workbench.

Easy to install, easier to use:

Pipe data is real in OSE Piping Workbench

Real data,

Started to integrate Piping code into Stephen’s

Power Cube - Abe Log

9 of 11

  • Modeling of Runout sensor ~75% done in freeCAD
    • Imported STL and started working with what was imported.
  • Home printer now has all three axis moving ( I have an older airwolf 3D from matterhackers) Had endstop issues.
  • Will use home printer to print parts for D3D, and the runout sensor for a mechanical test / evaluation.
  • Quick test of runout sensor software concept slated for today on a dry printer run to see how cura / the printer responds to “servo 3” having an open connection.
  • Ordered all parts for a 3D3 replication per:
    • PVC part ordering will wait until CAD rendering is done. Starting my CAD rendering (including Filament runout sensor) should start around this 2/21.
      • Reflecting on how cool it is that PVC is my only real concern on what I need to order after CAD rendering
      • Excited to try out Ruslan pipe macros

D3D Australia - German Log

  • Issues with bed leveling.
  • Bilinear subdivision leveling is working with
