How to build a training quote ?

A training quote is a single quote which aim is to sell training only.

• This will need to be built as a new quote, with a new opportunity. Follow guidance from the “How to build a new business quote” training slides.
• Once your quote is ready to be edited, you can now add the desired products.

How to build a training quote ?

• If you wish to add training products to a MAT/ multiple schools, you will need to add the relevant schools to your opportunity by following this process.
• Once your schools are linked to the opp, you can now add the training products under each relevant group. It is important for the product to be under each group so the product is being added under the right delivery account and linked to GS properly.

How to build a training quote ?

• You will notice the end date of the training is not the same as the end date of the quote. This is normal as we sell training per year only. The product will automatically renew every year.

How to build a training quote ?

• Once your quote is ready, you can Save it and edit the name of your opportunity reflecting “Training - etc”. That way, it is easier for you to find it among other opportunities.
• On the opportunity, please change the “Upsell reason” to “Training”. That way, it will be recorded properly in Salesforce.

• Finally, you can submit it for approval. Because it is a training quote and opportunity, this will be automatically approved.
