Volleyball vs Griffith

Wednesday night JV lost to Griffith in 3 sets. Scores were 13-25, 25-15, 14-16

Varsity came out with a win in 3 close sets. Their scores were 27-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Next up for JV and varsity is Hobart at Hobart on Thursday 9/18. Go Red Devils!

Lowell Soccer Defeats Highland in conference game 2-1

High School Announcement:

"The Lowell Boys Soccer Team beat Highland on Wednesday night. Josh Hejnowski scored two goals on Penalty Kicks to win 2-1. The Boys celebrated Senior night, honoring Justin Carlson, James Fitzpatrick, Josh Hejnowski, Trevor Redmerski, and Goal Keeper Josh Meadows. These seniors have led the team to 9 wins and 1 loss. Great job boys!"

Junior Varsity

The Lowell Boys Junior Varsity team fell to Highland 2-0. Owen Klemp made several great stops in goal, keeping his team in the game with 8 saves. Jackson Rush led the team with three great shots, but unable to find the back of the net.

Volleyball vs Hobart

The JV lost in 3 sets to Hobart. The scores were 23-25 lost, 25-17 won, 8-15 lost. While they had control of the first 2 sets they let the first one slip away. They just couldn’t get the groove back in the 3rd set.

Varsity lost in 5 sets after a slow start came back to win sets 2 and 4 but did not have enough steam to pull out set 5 against Hobart’s strong offense.

Scores were 16-25, 26-24, 27-29, 25-21, 10-15.

Students: Just a reminder

We are a closed campus. Per the student handbook this means students are to remain on school grounds from arrival in the morning until dismissal time in the afternoon. Once you arrive, you are to come into school.

Leaving to go to Speedway or back out to your car is not permitted. Also if you are leaving the RDT building to come back in or leaving this building to go to RDT, you are not permitted to go to your cars. You are to go directly into the buildings.

On Saturday, September 20th, IU Northwest will be hosting The Friends and Family Jamboree on their campus.

As a part of the activities will be the Annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Tournament registration is free, but must be completed by Monday, September 8th.Tournament participants will receive a t-shirt, and the winning team members will receive a special gift. You can register using the QR code on the flyer on this slide.

All attendees will receive a free lunch while supplies last.
