Before I give you a detailed insight into our event, I would like to explain the format barcamp:

Basically, it is an unconference format with a common theme but without a pre-planned programme.
For the OERcamp.global the common theme focused on the 5 Areas of Action as defined by the UNESCO Recommendation on OER.
And the programme was designed collaboratively by the participants before and during the event. So, we had an online form which everyone could fill out who wanted to give a session.
So, as organizers, we only provide the infrastructure AND what’s happening content-wise is up to the participants.
Therefore, a barcamp is a highly participatory format.
For OERcamp.global we also mixed in some keynotes, for this event not 100% were designed by the participants
