    • The PAC ~ Adopt A Country Project is an integrated study unit stemming from the Social Studies Curriculum. 

    • This project has evolved from a paper three-ring binder to a digital portfolio. 

    • Each year the project takes on a new dimension drawing greater relationships to curriculum and technology standards.

    • Adopt A Country is an long term project that is designed to challenge and to provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of another country's economy, culture, history, geography, food, society, education, plants & wildlife, etc and how these areas relate and compare to that of the United States.

The Beginning: Three Ring Binder > *Online WIKI

This required a considerable amount of training and effort to add/integrate other software files. Even pasting or embedding an essay from WORD required too much time and troubleshooting.

    • Provides options for how to learn and different methods to demonstrate their understanding.
