Peppers can be sweet or hot, and range in color from green, yellow, orange, red and purple, to brown.

Sweet peppers include banana, bell, cherry and pimiento.

Hot peppers include chili, habanero, jalapeño, hot banana and serrano.

Try lots of different peppers to see which kinds you like best!

Peppers originated in Mexico and Central and South America. Peppers were, and still are, important to many Native American tribes for cooking and seasoning, as well as medicinal purposes.
