Blisspoint Tent/Canopy

Setup and Tear Down

2 of 13

Orange Bag Straps

The tent bag should have a couple orange straps around it. These make it a bit easier to carry the tent around. The fastener has a push button release to loosen the strap, and they can be tightened just by tugging the strap tight.

Don’t completely unfasten the straps. Just loosen them enough so that you can slide the straps up over the top.

Expanding

Unbag the tent. With the tent on its side, undo the zipper, open the lid, and stand the tent up on its feet. Then pull the bag off over the top.

Expanding

Expand the tent by lifting it so that it rests on one corner opposite from you and walk backwards. Pushing up on the piece sliding up the leg can help expand it a little further.

Extending the Middle Legs

Extending the Center Pole

There are two pull-pins at the bottom of each leg. First extend the middle legs by pulling the upper pull-pin on each leg.

It helps to further expand the tent by going under the tent by pushing up on the centerpiece, bouncing a little let it expand more.

Extend the center pole before you raise the tent more or it will be out of reach.

Pushing the top clips into place

Push the sliding piece into place at the top of each leg. There is a hole for each upper pin to snap into.

Standing on the foot of each leg can help give you leverage for pushing up.

Extending the Lower Legs

Pull the lower most pins to extend the lower leg sections. Extend until they snap into place with two snaps holes showing.

Add Sandbag Weights to Each Leg

(single strap style)

This is an important step. Tents blowing around a farmers market are dangerous and result in us not being invited back

This style of sandbag has a single strap. Fasten the small lower velcro section to the pole. Then start by threading the strap between the bag and pole, and then wrap the strap around the pole a couple times so that it is snug to the pole.

Add Sandbag Weights to Each Leg

(double strap style)

This is an important step. Tents blowing around a farmers market are dangerous and result in us not being invited back

This style of sandbag has two straps. Orient the side with writing against the pole. Make sure the bag is snug against the pole and then fasten the two straps around the bag and pole.

Tear Down

11 of 13

Tear Down - unvelcro & unclip

Undo the velcro straps on each side. If you forget this you’ll end up trying to compress the tent unsuccessfully while fighting against the velcro straps

Pull the upper pin on each leg and pull sliding bracket down a little bit. Working the legs inward just a little bit will help keep it from snapping back into place.
