DSU Extension

SGA is opening DSU to any interested male student including freshmen and sophomores. This is the all male “Dance Team” that performs at the Powder Puff game halftime and at the Homecoming Pep Rally.

The 2025-26 Homecoming Court will be announced Wednesday, 9/17.

ALL Court Members (King & Queen) need to meet in Mrs. Lapinska’s Room #262 on

Friday, 9/19 immediately after school.

MANDATORY MEETING

• Monday, 10/06: Anything but a Backpack (NO WHEELS!)
• Tuesday, 10/07: TV Tuesday (TV characters)
• Wednesday, 10/08: White Lie Wednesday (Wear a “white lie” on a white t-shirt)
• Thursday, 10/09: Throwback Thursday
• Friday, 10/10: Black & Gold Day

Powderpuff Practices

• Must attend 3 out of 5 practices to participate.
• Please pick up a form from Mrs. Dirks or Mrs. S. Carter’s Door
• Practice Dates are Tuesday (09/23), Thursday (09/25), Monday (09/29), Tuesday (09/30) & Monday (10/06)
• Practices are from 5:30 - 6:30, meet by the sand volleyball court
• There will be a limit on the number of participants!

If you plan on playing Basketball go to Coach Boykins workouts or contact Coach Boykin and Coach DeLeone to workout a schedule for you to do both.

Sand Volleyball Practice

What: Sand Volleyball is a club for those who like to play volleyball. You can play for fun or compete against other schools starting in February.

Who: Both girls and boys are welcome to join

​

Where: At the sand volleyball court

When: Our first meeting will be Monday,

September 22nd, after school until 4:00 pm. Make sure you wear clothes to play volleyball (plus water).
