WORKEYS TESTING

Seniors identified as CTE completers will take the ACT WorkKeys Career Readiness Test this month. Letters will be given to those seniors who have successfully completed a concentrator course in an approved Career Pathway at the second or third level. If you score Silver, Gold, or Platinum you are considered to be Career Ready and will be recognized during Senior graduation activities. This is a required test and a great resume builder!

The Mariah Latifah Morrisey Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is in memory of Mariah Latifah Morrisey who was a lover of family and friends. Mariah attended the Clinton City School system from where she graduated in 2010. She loved basketball and band. In her free time she loved helping the elderly in any way she could. After high school she attended Winston Salem State University (WSSU) where she was a proud member of the WSSU Red Sea of Sound Marching band. She loved her trumpet and marching band family.

MISSION STATEMENT:

It is our desire to honor Mariah’s memory, by assisting an African American student to further his/her educational journey at a historically black college/university(HBCU). One $500-$1000 scholarship will be rewarded.

ELIGIBILITY:

● African American female or male

● Letter of acceptance into a HBCU

● At least 2.5 GPA (unweighted)

● Clinton High School Senior
