World Affairs Seminar (WAS) is a unique educational experience for high school students. We provide a unique forum for future international leaders to address urgent global issues.

Seminar Setting:

Carroll University, Waukesha, Wisconsin

• Six Nights Lodging in a double occupancy campus residence hall
• All meals are included from Saturday dinner through Friday breakfast

• Selected by Schools, Sponsoring Service Clubs, or other Community Groups
• Delegates MAY apply individually
• Typically in the top 50% of class
• Mix of domestic & international

Every sponsor has their own method of screening & selection

Over 90% receive Service Club Scholarships

World Affairs Seminar 2023

The 2023 World Seminar, “Climate Change: Youth Take Action,” will provide the means for young people from around the world to learn about the timely topic of climate change. It is up to the next generation to now share the lead, to embrace – and devise – the ideas and tools necessary to create a more sustainable world. Our Earth, including all other species, depends on it. Climate Change: Youth Take Action can be a first step in this vital journey.

2024 Seminar Fees

• Domestic Fee: $945 (US and Canada)
• International Fee: $845 (International students, including those in US or Canada attending High School Exchange Programs)�
• Early Bird Discount: $50 off, if fee is paid by Feb. 28, 2024
• Multiple Student Discounts: $50 off each for four or more students from one school, or who are sponsored by one organization.
• Discounts may be combined!
• Registration Deadline: May 22, 2024 (Payment & student applications due)
