Math | We will be finishing Unit 4 early this week and we will begin Unit 5 - Reasoning with Shapes and their Attributes. The focus of this unit is to help students identify, describe, and reason about the attributes of various quadrilaterals. |
ELA | This week students will completing their independent research project on a frog from our text, Everything You Need to Know About Frogs and Other Slippery Creatures. Students are following the painted essay model as they complete an introductory paragraph, two proof paragraphs, and a concluding paragraph about the frog they are researching. We will be concluding Module 2 when we track out. |
Science | Students will begin the unit on Force and Motion this week. We will be learning about force, pushes and pulls, Sir Isaac Newton, and Newton’s Laws. |
News This Week!
Last week the students participated in our DiCicco Marketplace activity. They did a wonderful job being entrepreneurs and consumers. We even had Dr. Jones, Mr. Miller, and Mrs. Tucker stop in to make some purchases! What a great learning experience for the students!

Students will complete their Middle of the Year Benchmark tests this week in Reading and Math. Please be sure they have their computers.
