  • Hoʻomanawanui (Perseverance): Take your time and do your best to include details. Be patient and put in effort.
  • Label your drawing.
  • ʻIke (Knowledge): Add words to explain parts of your drawing. This helps you learn and share what you know.
  • Write about your observation.
  • ʻIke Hoʻopili (Connection): Use your words to explain why your observation is important. Writing helps you share what you learn and shows how we are all connected to the land and each other.
