SMTT TECHNICAL SPEC

Velocity Projects 2025

  • Dimensions 959mm length (without hook), 339mm width, 359mm height
  • Empty weight about 7kg
  • It was designed for the FV01, and our future models. However, thanks to the modular floor, you are able to carry models inside it in scales smaller than our F1 cars. This also allows you to manage the use of the space inside yourself.
  • The front axle is steerable for better maneuverability. Each wheel has its own shock absorber.
  • At the rear, underneath the floor there is a storage compartment for 4 tires.
  • In the middle, under the floor, there is 5 storage compartments for spare parts. You can even stow an FV01 complete front wing and nose assembly into the largest one.
  • It can be pulled by models such as Casadio's Bronco, 3Dsets Landy 4x4 and etc...They only require a dedicated hook to be printed and mounted.

How to print special SMTT tires?

Velocity Projects 2025

The SMTT requires special hard-filled printed tires due to its weight. To do this, first print TIRE_INFILL according to the printing instructions. Then, when slicing the TIRE print with a layer height of 0.16 mm, add apause the print on layer 170 (27.24 mm high). Then insert TIRE_INFILL inside. It is very important not to move the build plate while doing this! After inserting the infill, you can continue printing.
