The Hockinson SD Facilities Planning Committee (FPC) consists of community members, parents, a board member, and HSD staff. The group surveyed families about facilities priorities and needs and researched possible solutions.

More students at Hockinson High School are enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) this year than ever before.

If the bond is approved, Hockinson School District will leverage $500K in matching funds and in-kind donations from industry leader and philanthropist Douglas Green to construct a hands-on job readiness building at Hockinson High School.
The bond would partially fund a building for Hockinson High School students to gain hands-on job readiness skills
Replace Track & Install Synthetic Turf Field at HHS
The track was installed more than two decades ago and has reached the end of its lifespan. The track costs $8,000-$10,000 annually for age-related repairs.
Hockinson High is the only school in its 17-school Greater St Helens league without a turf field, and HHS teams rent synthetic turf facilities from other schools in order to meet requirements to participate in postseason games.
Outdoor Covered Area at Hockinson Middle School
A covered outdoor area would offer a versatile, weather-protected space for students to spend time outdoors during lunch, recess, and physical activities.
As proposed rate begins, HMS bond rate steps down.
The bond proposal represents a bond rate increase of $0.68 per $1000, which would be an increase of about $43 per month for the owner of a $750,000 home.

Hockinson School District will �stretch local tax dollars by �utilizing over $2 million in impact �fees and district property sales with �$8.7 million in anticipated state construction assistance funding.
