What is eTwinning?
eTwinning is a platform where schools from different countries work together on projects.
Students can share ideas, create activities, and learn about other cultures.
It’s a great way to connect with schools around Europe!
What is an eTwinning project?
An eTwinning project is a collaboration between schools from different countries.
Students and teachers work together on a common theme or topic.
The project helps improve language skills and create international friendships.
Our project - Climate Detectives
In 'Climate Detectives', we investigate the effects of climate change.
We work with schools in Europe to find solutions to protect the environment.
We focus on topics like pollution, deforestation, and extreme weather.
Project phases - in short
Introduction of Partners: students and teachers introduce themselves in English.
Logo Creation: each student will design a logo for the project.
Logo Competition: poll for the selection of the winner logo of the project.
Meetings with Experts to learn more about the project topics.
Guided Visits of sites related to the project.
Project Website: the final result will be a public page on Twinspace showcasing everything we did.

Fires in Dalmatia
Every summer Dalmatia face great challenges due to fire.
Dry weather and damaged ecosystem with accumulation of dead biomass increase the risk of forest fires and therefore increased climate variability will augment the risk of forest fires.
In the past ten years there were 330 fires and 19.164 ha
of forests and woodland area was burnt down
on average in Croatia.
The most endangered areas are the islands,
among them particularly middle Dalmatian islands.
