Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth, and sport in Europe.

It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan, and the European Skills Agenda.

The programme also:

  1. Supports the European Pillar of Social Rights;
  2. Implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027;
  3. Develops the European dimension in sport.

The programme aims to offer students,

apprentices, school pupils, vocational

students, teachers, trainers, staff, job seekers, young persons, etc. The possibility to

travel abroad (studies, internship) to

develop their knowledge, skills and

employability.

1971 – 1990 - the establishment of the Construction Industrial High School subordinated to the Ministry of Education;�1990 –the name changed into The No.1 Theoretical High School ;�- the first theoretical profiles: Philology, Mathematics-Physics, Social Sciences;�- the establishment of the first gymnasium classes with sports profile, handball and athletics;�- the headmaster in charge was Professor Paul Corbu, and as deputy director, for a short period, Prof. M Sahleanu followed by Prof. Gheorghe Mihalaşcu (at this moment the high school has 44 classes of which: 5 classes for theoretical profiles and 2 gymnasium classes with a sports profile;�1991- the high school will receive its own identity through the new title, which it still bears today: High School with Sports Program;

1999 - the establishment of the first sports mosaic classes in the high school cycle for students - athletes in different specializations: volleyball, judo, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, gymnastics and the expansion of specializations within the theoretical stream with specializations such as: Natural Sciences, Philology, Social Sciences;�2001 – the purchase of the first computers and the establishment of an IT laboratory;�2002 – Socrates project through which the high school benefited for 8 months from linguistic assistant professor Anna Kaisa Siven (Finland).�

TEACHERS’ROOM

In our high school, this is the room where teachers relax during breaks between

Classes, where they have meetings and sometimes have extra work to do.

It is equipped with tables and chairs, a bulletin board for displaying information

necessary, drawers in which teachers can place their personal as well as professional belongings and a photo copier for printing documents and worksheets they wish to present to the students during classes.

The Erasmus+ area is a place

particularly organised in our

school for disseminating

Erasmus+ activities

throughout the years.

In this corner we can

inform students and teachers about all activities that took

place over time in our school

KINDERGARTEN

The kindergarten is a great place for children,

where they can spend their time learning

and playing in a safe and stimulative

environment. The kindergarten is usually formed from colorful and toy-filled classrooms,

where children can explore and discover the world around them through educational

and interactive activities.

THE HALL OF PRIMARY CLASSES

The primary school hall is a place full of life

and energy. It is

welcoming and

provides a pleasant

atmosphere for

students. On the walls there are paintings or

drawings made by

students with great

creativity.

PRIMARY CLASSROOMS

Classrooms are places where

students spend a lot of time, they are carefully arranged to create a

comfortable learning environment

and to stimulate creativity. Each

classroom has a number of desks

for students where they carry out

their school activities. There are also boards in classrooms where teacherswrite down and explain different concepts and on the walls

the students display their

projects made during the school year.

IT LABORATORIES

IT laboratories are in the classrooms where

both gymnasium and high school students

carry out their classes. They are equipped with

laptops and central IT units for creating and

presenting projects requested by teachers.

Apart from these technological devices we can also find one smart board which does the

same thing as a normal computer.

IT LABORATORY

The computer lab is the room

where the IT teacher carry out

educational activities.

This room is also often used for

taking the exams by students of the 8th and 12th grades. In the rest of

the time when the room is not

busy, teachers come here to use for

different professional purposes.

CHEMISTRY LABORATORY

The chemistry laboratory is a

very interesting place for

enthusiasts. Here we can explore and learn about various

substances and chemical

reactions.

In the laboratory, we find work tables

equipped with sinks, cupboards with

various specific utensils and a room

specially arranged for the chemicals

used in the experiments. In this lab, for safety, everything is done in the

presence of a teacher.

BIOLOGY LABORATORY

The Biology laboratory is a fascinating place where you can explore and

better understand the living world

around us. In it, you can find

specialized tools and equipment that help with studying plants, animals and

other organisms.

TENNIS ROOM

Also, the high school has a table tennis room, for first-grade students who are

Fond of this sport, but also for the children who practice this sport at a high

performance level. The room is equipped with several tennis tables. We also find table

tennis rackets and balls available for players.

HANDBALL ROOM

Our high school is equipped with an impressive

building, designed to practise handball. It has generous dimensions and a designed floor to allow players to slide and move quickly.

In this hall you will find changing rooms for players,

trophies and a tribune for those who want to

watch matches.

LIBRARY

The library is a place full of books and a quiet and relaxing

atmosphere. In it there are shelves

full of books of every possible genre

and subject. There are tables for

reading or studying.

PHYSICS LABORATORY

The physics laboratory is a fascinating place full of interesting experiments.

Here, students have the opportunity to explore and understand the laws and phenomena of physics in a practical way. In the laboratory, we find different

equipment and special instruments to demonstrate and observe various

physical principles and concepts. The laboratory is equipped with work tables and comfortable chairs so that students can work in a safe and well-organized

environment.

THE ATHLETICS STADIUM

The athletics stadium is the place

where athletes train and compete in various athletic events. It is an open

space, with a running track that is

covered with a special material that

provides athletes with a grip. Next to

the track we find other facilities such as the long and high jump, the area

for throwing weights and an outdoor

tribune for spectators.

THE MODERN BASE OF FOOTBALL

Our high school also has a very modern sports base. No less than three

football fields for children who are fond of this sport. The grass is well-

maintained, facilitated by an automatic and efficient irrigation system.

Around the field, we find a large tribune and the locker rooms of the

football players.
