My topic is composting. Composting means you collect items that you may want to throw away but instead you add them to a compost pile. After everything turns to dirt you can use it to plant new things or use it as fertilizer. Composting sounds easy and fun and will help our environment.
Hypothesis
I want to show everyone how easy it is to make a compost pile so everyone can make a difference in the environment.

I had a lot of fun collecting items to compost. I learned how to layer them by dividing items that were green or brown. A good compost pile will make good soil for mother nature. The soil will be full of natural fertilizers with keep our rivers clean and safe. Some compost piles are complete in a few weeks and some take months. I want to do a real compost pile in my back yard some day.
