How do you spot a liar?

Here are 3 things to look out for when talking to someone. Do you think they can really help? Why / Why not?

Put the following in order of seriousness

(1 = the most serious; 6 = the least serious)

  • lying about why you’re late for work / school
  • lying about your age to get into a nightclub
  • lying about your qualifications to get a job
  • lying to your partner about another person
  • lying to a friend about their new hairstyle
  • lying to a member of your family about a present you didn’t like
